A benchtop refrigerated micro centrifuge for temperature-sensitive samples in microtubes, such as nucleic acid and protein preparations, in research and biotechnology laboratories.
It reaches 16,000 rpm (16,800 × g), and a PID controller cools the bowl from room temperature to −10 °C, holding ±1 °C on standby and ±2 °C while spinning. It is supplied with a 12 × 1.5/2 ml angle rotor and adapters for 0.5 and 0.2 ml tubes.
