A floor-standing refrigerated centrifuge for large-volume work in 250 ml and 500 ml bottles, for bioprocess, pharmaceutical and research laboratories that need up to 2 litres per run.
A brushless drive reaches 8,000 rpm, and a PID controller cools the stainless steel bowl from room temperature to −10 °C with ±2 °C accuracy. It has a 4-line LCD, three acceleration and deceleration profiles, an imbalance detector and dynamic brake. It is sold without a rotor; choose a 4 × 500 ml or 6 × 250 ml angle head.
