A microprocessor-controlled mini centrifuge for spinning down microcentrifuge tubes in molecular biology, biotechnology and teaching laboratories. Speed is set in ten steps, so gentle and fast spins can be run on the same unit.
A maintenance-free brushless motor drives the rotor up to 10,000 rpm (5,585 × g), with a digital timer up to 15 minutes. Two angle rotors are included: six places for 1.5/2 ml tubes and twelve places for 0.5 ml tubes.
