A high-speed brushless micro centrifuge for nucleic acid and protein work that needs more g-force than standard microtube spinners, used in research, biotechnology and university laboratories.
The speed is programmable from 2,000 to 20,000 rpm, reaching 27,000 × g with the 12-place microtube rotor. It stores ten programs with three acceleration and deceleration rates and has an electronic lid lock, imbalance detector and dynamic brake. Maximum speed depends on the rotor fitted.
