A gel documentation system for imaging DNA and protein gels in research, biotechnology and academic laboratories, combining a dark-room hood, a digital SLR camera and a research UV transilluminator.
The 18 MP camera with 18–55 mm and 55–250 mm zoom lenses and an EtBr filter mounts on top of the hood and can be run from a PC. The transilluminator slides out on a drawer for loading, built-in white lights give epi illumination, and the UV switches off when the door opens. Choose a 302 nm or dual 302 + 365 nm transilluminator.
