A brushless benchtop centrifuge for routine sample preparation in clinical and pathology laboratories, such as separating serum or plasma in blood collection tubes. Choose an angle head for twelve 15 ml tubes or a swing-out head for sixteen 4 ml blood collection tubes.
A microprocessor sets the speed from 400 to 2,800 rpm in 400 rpm steps, and a digital timer runs from 1 to 99 minutes. The brushless motor is mounted on an anti-vibration pad and is rated for running through the working day. The body is rust-proof moulded plastic; adapters for 4 ml and 5–10 ml tubes are available.
